Many of you have asked about our assignment. The primary position is as Regional Disaster Management Coordinators for MCC in Central America and the Caribbean. We will be working with MCC staff and their partners in countries in the region where MCC has programs, including Honduras, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Mexico, and Haiti.

Virgil will work full-time in this position, Kathy half-time. The position involves considerable travel, howeverTegucigalpa will serve as our home base.
In addition, Kathy will have a half-time assignment, yet to be determined, in the Tegucigalpa area. We may actually wait until we arrive and are settled in Teguc before finalizing that assignment decision.
We are very excited about these assignments and looking forward to beginning the work.
